Because the service has just launched, the current prices are extremely cheap – it’s 1364 Thai Baht one way for the Air Asia Koh Samui flight and ferry island transfer ticket. That’s 2728 Baht for a return ticket – around $90 USD. The flight on its own is 990 Baht each away, making the ferry ticket and transfer cost around 374 Baht extra.
This is obviously much more convenient and hassle free than having to work out how to make the transfer for yourself from Surat Thani to the ferry pier.
An extra convenience is that if the Air Asia flight is delayed, the ferry will wait for those passengers with an Island Transfer ticket.
You can also get the Island Transfer service to Koh Samui from Nakhon Si Thammarat airport
